Acceptable Use & Usage Policy (AUP)

Effective Date: April 6, 2026

This Acceptable Use & Usage Policy (“Policy”) explains what is and isn’t allowed when using BlackwellOS (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to follow this Policy.

1) Use the Service Responsibly

  • Human review is required. AI can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before using or publishing them.
  • Not for clinical care. BlackwellOS is for marketing and operational support. It is not for diagnosing, treating, or managing medical conditions, and it should not be used in emergencies.
  • You’re responsible for compliance. You are responsible for ensuring content you publish complies with laws, regulations, and third-party platform policies (Google/Meta/etc.).

2) Account, Access, and Security

You may not:

  • Share logins outside your organization or allow unauthorized access.
  • Bypass authentication, access controls, billing controls, or other protective measures.
  • Bypass token accounting, token-type gating (including future “Gen Tokens”), SEO search caps, Compass search caps, or any feature usage restrictions.
  • Probe or scan the Service for vulnerabilities.
  • Upload or deploy malware, exploits, or disruptive automation.

3) Platform Abuse and Technical Misuse

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover non-public prompts, models, source code, or underlying systems.
  • Scrape, harvest, or extract content/outputs at scale unless explicitly allowed by BlackwellOS features (or an authorized API, if offered).
  • Use BlackwellOS to build, benchmark, replicate, or improve a competing product.
  • Interfere with or overload the Service (including via bots or bulk automation outside normal human usage).

4) No PHI / No Patient Data (No BAA)

BlackwellOS is not designed to process, store, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI). We do not offer a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA), and we do not support PHI use cases.

Do not input, upload, transmit, store, or generate:

  • Any PHI or patient-identifiable information (including patient names/initials, DOB, contact info, medical record numbers, insurance/billing details, appointment details, clinical notes, diagnoses, medications, lab results, imaging, or anything that could identify a patient or relate to an individual’s healthcare).
  • Highly sensitive personal data such as government IDs, financial account numbers, passwords/access credentials, or biometric identifiers.

If you use scenarios for educational or marketing content, use generalized or fictional examples that do not identify a real person.

Submitting PHI is a material violation of this Policy and may result in immediate suspension or termination.

5) Healthcare Marketing Rules (Claims, Reviews, Testimonials)

You may not use the Service to create or publish content that:

  • Makes false, misleading, or unsubstantiated medical claims (including “guaranteed results,” “miracle cures,” or outcomes you cannot support).
  • Uses deceptive “before/after” narratives or implies typical results without appropriate disclosures.
  • Creates fake reviews, fake testimonials, fabricated patient stories, or impersonates patients, clinicians, or staff.
  • Violates FTC endorsement/testimonial guidance, applicable medical board advertising rules, privacy laws, or platform policies (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Business Profile, email/SMS providers, etc.).

6) Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to create, upload, or distribute:

  • Illegal content or content promoting unlawful activities
  • Harassment, hate, discrimination, threats, or content encouraging violence
  • Sexually explicit content, sexual exploitation, or any content involving minors
  • Fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, or deceptive practices
  • Content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates privacy/publicity rights
  • Malware or instructions intended to facilitate wrongdoing or system compromise

7) Restricted Uses

You may not use the Service:

  • To provide individualized medical, legal, or financial advice to a specific person
  • To make or automate high-stakes decisions about individuals (employment, housing, insurance, credit, etc.)
  • For political campaigning or targeted political persuasion where restricted by law or platform rules

8) Usage Limits, Tokens, Seats, and Fair Use

BlackwellOS plans include limits that may include:

  • AI Tokens
  • Feature-based tokens (e.g., future “Gen Tokens” for media/video generation)
  • Seat limits and storage limits
  • Hard caps on certain metered actions, including SEO searches (e.g., via DataForSEO) and Compass searches

Optional daily/24-hour limits. In addition to monthly plan limits, we may implement daily or rolling 24-hour usage limits (hard or soft) at our discretion to protect the Service, prevent abuse, and ensure fair access. If implemented, limits may result in throttling, delayed processing, temporary feature restrictions, or requiring you to wait until usage resets.

Seats. Some entitlements may scale with seats. We may allow purchase of additional seats up to a maximum of 10 seats per organization (unless we approve otherwise in writing). Additional seats may include additional entitlements (for example, additional storage and additional Compass searches), as described in-product.

Token top-ups. We may allow you to purchase additional tokens (“top-ups”) for an additional fee as displayed in-product (for example, purchasing an additional block of AI Tokens). Any top-ups may be subject to additional terms disclosed at purchase.

You may not attempt to circumvent limits, throttles, or caps, including by using multiple accounts or other methods to evade enforcement.

9) Enforcement

If we believe you violated this Policy, we may take action at our discretion, including warnings, throttling, feature restriction, suspension, termination, or removal/restriction of access to content or outputs.
